This week has seen most teams training in preparation for the weekend matches we have coming up. It's a busy one, but we'll come on to that in a moment.
We won't lie, we really struggled for numbers last season and the turn of this season, mainly with the minis. Why? Because another well known sport changed their training and game days to a Sunday which hinders those who also love Rugby! However this week alone has seen three new players come along to train with our Under 12’s and there is another due to visit next week. Having seen them get stuck in, we've seen some real potential, and already they are signing up to stay! How do we achieve this? Well, word of mouth and the power of social media! We thank our young players, and parents for sharing our media content and for spreading the word and we would ask you to continue to do so to build on all our team numbers!
So this weekend, we have the 1st XV playing away to Hendon 2nd XV, time and lineup to be confirmed.
The U15’s will be away to Letchworth on Sunday, kick off at 10:00
The U13’s will be away to Dunstablians on Sunday kick off at 10:00
And the minis will be away to St Albans!
As for Rugbeez, they will be training on Sunday and can run off their little legs to their hearts content and have the playing fields all to themselves.
